At Finnie Distributing, we make every effort to reduce our carbon footprint on the environment. This involves everything from our fleet of trucks that has the most fuel-efficient motors available to the installation of an anaerobic digester that produces 60m2 of methane per hour which we burn in a specially designed boiler. All of our wash water from the cleaning of equipment is also pumped to the anaerobic digester. As a result of our green initiatives, we have been able to reduce our natural gas consumption by 40%. We also make every effort to recycle all of our cardboard, metal and plastic containers.
